MOTD

Today was a lazy day for me. I’ve been at home all day, working on jewelry and cooking. My mom went out and brought back a little bit of new makeup for me because she’s amazing. I was suddenly told that we were going out to supper, so I was frantically going through my new stuff to find a look, when I remembered something about a “rosy glow”. Here is what I used.
Merle Norman Dual Action Concealer and Merle Norman Foundation Primer.

Eyes Lips Face eyeshadow. I used a base of the yellow-tan color on the bottom far left, then blended the copper-pinks (second row, far left) in the corners. I then lined only my waterline with Wet n Wild ColorIcon eyeliner pencil in Violet.

Here is how the look came together.

Artsy Hipsta

Earrings were in a bag of 50 pairs of earrings, the whole bag for $2. The bracelet was $2. Both came from the Scott Antique Market in Atlanta.

I’m wearing a black and white striped tunic bought at Belk, Decree skinnies from JCPenney, and a handmade scarf. My eyeshadow is from my elf 32-color palette, and I used L’Oreal Voluminous False Fiber Lashes mascara in black.

Appearance Changes?

Good evening lovelies, just wanted to give y’all a heads-up. Today I got a deal on a cut and color from a really wonderful hairstylist in town, so I’ll be getting it done soon. I’m trying to grow my hair to mid-back, but I’ve been considering dyeing my hair dark red. It’ll bring out my green eyes, plus add an edge to my style. Of course, I still must convince my madre, but as far as I can tell, I’ll be able to color it. This is about the color I want.

New Music

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a pretty culturally diverse girl. I’m 3 kinds of European (German, French, Spaniard) living in a white community, attending an 80% black school, and I have Asian, Latino, and everything-else friends. Therefore, I listen to pretty much anything. My gorgeous friend Laricza is a Latina model of mine, and she has wonderful taste in music. May I now fangirl?
PIERCE THE VEIL IS AMAZING
OH MY GRAVY
VIC FUENTES IS JUST PERFECT
Okay, teenage girl squealing is over. But I put on PTV on Pandora today and discovered so much more to love. I already listen to Hey Monday, Boys Like Girls, and We The Kings, but I found the amazingness that is My Chemical Romance, All-American Rejects, and All-Time Low, plus quite a few more. (Mayday Parade anyone?) So I now have a fangirl crush on a bunch of hardcore emo rockers. It’s all good.

Reblog from London Fashion Week

These all look wonderful! I especially love the white dress with the netted neckline and silver collar.

How To Run in Stilettos

Lets cast our mind back to the beginning of London Fashion Week, where Temperly London rocked our socks with a collection of stunning, wearable and eclectic mix of stylish work wear and gorgeous evening dresses.

A monochromatic palette was the focal point of this collection, bringing with it a sense of simplicity and effortless chic. This however, was later contrasted with vibrant pops of colour- from oranges to splashes of blues and greens.

The strong tribal influences were definitely a welcomed surprise, with the intricate detailing tying together this amazing collection.
